SIT – Surveyor in Training (Transportation Survey)
Qualifications
Candidate should be licensed as a Surveyor in Training (SIT) and will be expected to work with and achieve a level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, GEOPAK, CAiCE, Microsoft Office products, Hypack, and Trimble data collection and processing software.  Boating experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
Candidate will assist the Project Surveyor in all areas of surveying including job setup and planning, deed research, data processing, CAD drafting and field work.  Focus will be on transportation, utility and hydrographic survey projects.

Experience
1 year of experience as a licensed SIT and 2-5 years of experience with AutoCad

This position will provide plenty of opportunity for growth and experience with a wide variety of geospatial projects.

SIT – Surveyor in Training / CAD Technician (Land Surveying)
Qualifications
To qualify for this position the ideal candidate should be a Surveyor in Training (SIT) and will be expected to work with and achieve a level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office products, Trimble data collection and processing software.  Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR. Must have a thorough knowledge of generally accepted land survey procedures and field execution of work

Instrument Operator
Experience
Candidate should have at least 2-5 years of experience as an Instrument Operator in Land Surveying and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Responsibilities
This person is responsible for assisting the Crew Chief in the operation of a field survey crew. The major objectives are the quality, accuracy, thoroughness, safety, and maintenance of equipment.

Rod Person (Transportation Survey)
Qualifications
To qualify for this position the ideal candidate should possess a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and a willingness to learn. No experience necessary.  Will train.  Must be a team player who enjoys working outdoors.

SUE Locator Technician
Qualifications
Underground utility electronic locating and GPR experience preferred.  Heavy outdoor worklocating underground utilities and operating vacuum excavation vehicle, with some out of town travel required.  Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record.  Experience is not necessary.  Will train.   Must be a team player who enjoys working outdoors.

Traffic Engineer (EI or PE)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer, Minor in Transportation, FL. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, Engineer Intern (EI) acceptable, valid driver’s license.

Instrument Operator
Our Lakewood Ranch Survey Department is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Survey Instrument Operator.

Responsibilities
This person is responsible for assisting the Crew Chief in the operation of a field survey crew. The major objectives are the quality, accuracy, thoroughness, safety, and maintenance of equipment.

Experience
The candidate for this position should have a minimum of 2 years experience in Land Surveying and be a team player who enjoys working outdoors.  Candidate must have Electronic Data Collection experience with various systems, and must be able to operate contemporary survey instruments with little supervision or training, must have valid Florida Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Project Engineer (II or III)

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Current FL. Professional Engineers License, valid driver’s license,

You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. Survey CADD Technician
Experience
A minimum of 5 years experience in the CADD Technician position is required.  Qualified candidates must have experience with Autocad LDD version2007 or higher.  Experience with Civil 3D is also preferred.

Responsibilities

The Survey CAD Technician will transform raw field data from our survey crews into final maps and plans using computer aided drafting and design (CADD). Prepares surveying drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. Must be proficient in preparing boundary surveys, topographic surveys, site plans, roadway plans/profiles/cross-sections, and infrastructure plans for a diverse group of private and public sector clients
