Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM)
St Petersburg, FL / Tampa, FL / Punta Gorda, FL
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 10 years of experience managing multiple projects in various aspects of survey work. The candidate should have a strong background in several of the following: ALTA surveys, design surveys for roadways and pipelines, including reading and interpreting Right of Way Maps, construction layout, and staking, including reading and interpreting construction plans, and preparation of calculations for a stakeout and reading, interpreting, and preparing legal descriptions. In this role, a strong background in the preparation of subdivision and condominium plats, as well as topographic surveys, is a plus. As a Professional Surveyor & Mapper, the role will also require business development efforts; you are expected to thrive in an environment where you are responsible for the management and execution of the full BD life cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals in a high-paced environment. You are expected to identify gaps and emerging program requirements, perform market and economic analysis, conduct business intelligence, execute formal capture plans, and monitor competitor activity. You will assist in developing the overall BD strategy for internal and external partnerships and campaigns.

Civil Project Manager
St. Petersburg, FL
GFY is seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager, who is interested in being a part of an influential work environment. This position will primarily be responsible for engineering and technical disciplines including site design, utilities, stormwater, permitting and construction observation. The position will assist in managing all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. You must have the ability to lead technical teams and personally produce final construction deliverables. The ideal candidate will be proficient producing plans in CADD and utilizing diverse design tools to produce and document calculations.

At GFY, we offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits to provide financial, physical, and mental well-being now and into our employee’s future. Once an application is submitted, it is sent to our Hiring Managers for review. If they would like to proceed with an interview, the applicant will be contacted by the GFY Hiring Crew. The first interview is typically virtual through Microsoft TEAMS. The TEAMS app can be downloaded to the applicant’s phone, laptop, or tablet. If the Hiring Managers would like to continue the process, an in-person interview will follow. After an Offer Letter is sent and signed, the Onboarding process begins – prescreening and additional forms. The Prescreening process includes a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report. Please note this process may change based on position.

Before your interview, review the hiring description of the position you applied for. Be prepared to answer various questions to help the Hiring Managers learn more about you. For example, experience-related questions that pertain to your field and your short and long-term personal and career goals. Interviews are also an open space for you to ask questions about the position and GFY.
