GFY provided civil engineering, surveying, and subsurface utility engineering services for the site assessment, space needs, and alternative development for the 6.36-acre downtown police headquarters. The site assessment included an inventory of all of the surrounding utilities and evaluations of site conditions and stormwater for development potential.
The design services include the development of phased site development plans for the 164,000 SF police headquarters and emergency operations center including power and communication utility relocation, radio tower relocation, drainage outfall crossing the CSX railroad, water, sewer, and drainage design, and stormwater management for the planned facility. Permitting included the City of St. Petersburg, CSX, SWFWMD, and FDEP.
