Hydrographic Surveying at GFY
GFY has a department dedicated to providing only hydrographic surveying, and we maintain a fleet of specially equipped vessels outfitted with the latest equipment led by a team of experts in this service line.
Our team gathers critical data to model and analyze conditions around bridge structures and seawalls. Hydrographic surveying tasks can range from soundings taken with a lead line or rod from a 10-foot Jon boat to multi-beam echo sounder data collected along with side scan sonar from a fully automated 24’ survey vessel. We also offer underwater inspection services using the CODA Octopus Echoscope Real-Time 3D sonar system.
